JOVENES VISITAN LA SALA DEL AGUA
El viernes 23 de julio, 42 jóvenes visitaron la Sala del Agua en Santo Domingo, realizando un recorrido por sus instalaciones.
Los jóvenes asistentes, recibieron allí, por parte del ingeniero Jorge Mañán, del cuerpo educativo del INDRHI, una explicación exhaustiva del ciclo del agua, las fuentes acuíferas, las presas y la medición plumétrica del país, de acuerdo a las lluvias que se precipitan; con lo cual se procura crear conciencia sobre el agua como recurso vital.
La ocasión sirvió también para hacer un recorrido en el Metro de Santo Domingo, una obra moderna del desarrollo vial, importante para la cultura general de los jóvenes.
